The Current Movie Crush List

There is no denying that if Tom Hanks walked in your line of view you would freak out because he’s freaking Tom Hanks. A movie icon. Forrest. Fucking. Gump. However, while he’s still making amazing movies today, there is a new crop of heavy hitters that have been working their way up the icon ladder as of late. Whether it’s been in Blockbusters, Oscar-nominated films, or remakes of classics from the ‘90s – at least one (or more) of the following actors are on your current movie crush list.

Finn Wolfhard

We all came to know Finn Wolfhard on the hit Netflix series, ‘Stranger Things,’ but since that show stakes as long as Pennywise to come back, he’s been able to head to the big screen in recent years. In, of course, ‘It,” as well as the latest in the ‘Ghostbusters’ franchise.

Anya Taylor-Joy

On top of making people really into chess, Anya Taylor-Joy has also made a splash in movies like ‘Split,’ ‘Emma,’ and her latest, ‘Last Night in Soho.’

Pete Davidson

I about spit out my tea when I learned this man was the same age as my younger brother because he has major mid-30s energy. That aside, this ‘SNL’ and for some reason public obsession has been a bit of an indie movie favorite as of late. If you’d like to hear me question why this crush is happening, listen to the episode we did with singer-songwriter, Laryssa Birdseye

Chloë Grace Moretz

We can all agree, the most badass on this list…right?

Timothée Chalamet

Every generation has that ONE actor and right now, Timothée Chalamet is it.

Florence Pugh

Every time she’s in a movie, I feel like the review is that she’s always the best part. Hats off to her for that.

Dylan Minnette

Scream if you have a crush on Dylan – go ahead!

Amandla Stenberg

She was in a movie with Chelsea Collins’ movie crush, Nick Robinson – and so many more amazing ones like ‘The Hate U Give.’

Tom Holland

Yes, he’s Spider-man, but also…the lip sync. I know that was on TV but still.

Zendaya

If I could be anyone on earth, it’d be Zendaya. 100%.
