There is a lot to love about ‘The Baby-Sitters Club’ movie, and we’ve talked about it at length both here and on the podcast, but we can’t leave this week behind without diving into my favorite scenes from and aspects of the movie. So let’s not waste any more time and get to it!

When Luca freaks out because he took a middle schooler to a New York City club…boy, you knew that girl was not someone you should have been dating. I just like this aspect of the movie because it is truly so unhinged.

Mean girl Cokie tries to come for Mary Anne’s boyfriend, Logan, and Mary Anne really tries to bite back, but it comes out more like a nibble.
The ugliest dress, ever
Kristy has a lot of moments because she is the president of the club, but also because a big part of the plot revolves around her dad coming back into town, and him making her keep it a secret. Not only is that man manipulative, but he also has zero fashion sense. He had the nerve to gift his daughter one of the ugliest pieces of clothing ever filmed. So ugly, photos don’t exist of it.
The new spot
As a kid, stumbling upon a place that my friends and I could fix up and utilize as our own seemed so cool.
The soundtrack
“Summertime” by Moonpools & Caterpillars is a song that could’ve only existed in the wondrous and carefree times that were the ‘90s.
