Brad Robinson from The Not Ready for Prime Time Podcast came through to talk about ‘Saturday Night Live’ as a whole because for him, there isn’t just one specific facet that he loves about the TV staple, it’s the whole damn enchilada. From the golden years his show covers to newer cast members he feels might be able to break out once they leave. We covered all of that and then some in this week’s episode. We even talked about his Mount Rushmore, something I also did via Mass-Debaters. However, I wanted to shout out more than a handful from the show that never failed to make me giggle. So let’s get to the funniest ‘SNL’ cast members, according to me.
Kristen Wiig
The crushing on Kristen has been going strong for a long time, and it’s already laid out here.
Bill Hader
You can also check out what I’ve had to say about who I think is the hottest man to ever be on ‘SNL,’ right here.
Maya Rudolph
“Wake Up Wakefield” may have been the first sketch I remember seeing and loving on my own. No one told me, hey check this out. Maya led it and it led to me following her from that point on.
Bobby Moniyhan
Did anyone else watch that show he had after he left ‘SNL?’ It was so good and I’m forever pissed that ‘This Is Us’ basically took the concept and sprinted with it.
Rachel Dratch
If you like a good memoir, check out Rachel’s ‘Girl Walks into a Bar . . .: Comedy Calamities, Dating Disasters, and a Midlife Miracle.’ Very little ‘SNL,’ but what she does deliver is a great story to those who always think, nah – I’m past the point in my life where I can do XYZ.
Bowen Yang
The funniest person that’s been added to that show in years. Bowen, don’t change a damn thing about what you’re doing on that show.
Michael Che
Michael Che making Colin Jost feel uncomfortable gives me an unexplainable energy.
Leslie Jones
Miss her. Always.
Colin Jost
Colin Jost’s white, uncomfortable guilt gives me an unexplainable energy.
Aidy Bryant
Aidy Bryant did so much on that show that was perfection.
