A Bodacious 80s TV Crush List

The ‘80s seem like just yesterday but with each passing day the decade that brought us David Hasselhoff singing at the fall of the Berlin Wall as well as the start of MTV gets further and further away. However, thanks to a bunch of 30-40-something-year-olds with internet access, that era of pop culture has yet to disappear forever. Especially when people like Ken AKA MrGentleman come through with an ‘80s TV crush. We talked about Keshia Knight Pulliam from ‘The Cosby Show,’ and with that, I was inspired to talk about a heartbreaking crush from that time. However, today we’re sticking with the good crushes from the ‘80s as we explore some of the most beloved from the small screen back then.

Winnie Cooper, ‘The Wonder Years’

Winnie Cooper walked so that Topanga Lawrence could run.

Officer Tom Hanson, ’21 Jump Street’

People like to pretend they ain’t about that Johnny Depp life like that man wasn’t the hottest human being on the planet once upon a time…

Sandra Clark, ‘227’

Jackée Harry will forever be a crush.

Thomas Magnum, ‘Magnum, P.I.’

This man got a lot of people hot and bothered in the ‘80s.

Samantha Micelli, ‘Who’s the Boss?’

Did you know she was the inspiration behind Ariel from ‘The Little Mermaid’ AKA the Disney movie that turned that company’s ass around?

Sam Malone, ‘Cheers’

Does anyone else daydream about time traveling back to the set of ‘Cheers’ for a chance with Sam Malone?

She-Ra, ‘She-Ra: Princess of Power’

It’s not happened yet, but I have a feeling one day we’ll have a guest talk about the sexual awakening they had while watching ‘She-Ra: Princess of Power.’

Uncle Jesse, ‘Full House’

Uncle Jesse has been making people hormonal since 1987.

Denise Huxtable, ‘The Cosby Show’

Lisa Bonet. That’s it. That’s the caption.

Alex P. Keaton, ‘Family Ties’

Looking back, it’s hard to imagine not having a crush on Michael J. Fox in the ‘80s. He was IT.
