Glee Crush: Wishing Thinking for Nationals

Because you listened to Rae Bradshaw’s episode by now, you know that I don’t quite understand how the students in ‘Glee’ were always working towards Nationals. It’s like every single wee- wait, you haven’t listened? Well, you can head here or here and then get back to me…

Okay, now that you’re all caught up and you’ve listened to Rae talk about not one, but two Glee Crushes, you can now move forward. This one was actually inspired by a portion of Rae and I’s chat where she talked about a song she wished she’d been able to hear on the show. So this week’s top 10 is made up of…well, not necessarily songs the cast actually did, but rather what songs I think the fandom would have loved to see done on the show if it were still a thing on Fox and the network hadn’t just turned into a place where celebrities perform in ridiculous costumes while Ken Jeong guesses everyone is Obama. Really? I mean, what self-respecting politician would go on ‘The Masked Singer?’

Anyways, here are almost a dozen songs that ‘Glee’ would’ve done well if only they’d been made before March 2015.

Alessia Cara “Here”

Adele “Hello”

The Chainsmokers “Closer”

Shawn Mendes “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back”

Paramore “Hard Times

Lizzo “Juice”

Jonas Brothers “Sucker”

Halsey “You Should Be Sad”

Olivia Rodrigo “drivers license”

Gayle “abcdefu”
