The algorithm did me good some time last year when singer-songwriter Kate Yeager appeared before me on one of my many late night scrolls through Instagram. Instantly taken by her voice and approach to songwriting, I hit follow and kept tabs on her from that point on. Not in a creepy way. It’s just when you discover an artist like Kate, you hold tight. Fast forward to the present, and Kate’s release of her latest video for “Fat,” a song on my life’s soundtrack, one many can relate to for a number of reasons. Many of which we talked about as we chatted not only about music, but about a crush that worked out in her favor, and led to her now fiance!
